Answer by Ishan Rana:
I was standing in a line behind 3 people at a ticket counter in Thailand. It was an extremely hot day. One that brings out the worst in people. An old guy of around 50 comes up to the line and says to the guy at the front :
"Hey man, nice day, huh? Do you know what's the biggest room in the world is?"
The guy looked at him and ignored him.
With the same quizzical expression, he moved on to the next. "Hey, man, do you know what the biggest room in the world is?"
The second guy glanced at him mockingly, possibly due to the old man's childlike enthusiasm, and then looked away.
It was my turn. And before he could even repeat the question, I responded with "Don't know Sir! What's the biggest room in the world?"
"The biggest room in the world," and his serious expression changed to a self-proclaimed monk like expression, "is the room… for improvement."
I was dumbstruck for 3 seconds. And then, I broke out into laughter. And I laughed, and he laughed, and the other two guys laughed. We shook-hands with each other, then he smiled and walked away.
A very simple, yet profound piece of advice.
